Warranty, Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at INSEETECH. We hope you enjoy your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied with your product or request a repair, we are always here to help.

Ⅰ.Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Period

INSEETECH provides warranty service and official customer support only for new and refurbished products purchased from INSEETECH official website, Amazon, Newegg, Walmart and other official stores.

2. After-sales service.

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on products (home surveillance cameras/vehicle surveillance products/accessories) purchased from INSEETECH. The warranty starts from the date of your invoice.

3. Warranty Voiding

The warranty is void if: (a) the product is marked as a "sample" or "not for sale" or is sold or sent to you "as is" or as a "prototype". "(b) the Product was purchased from an unauthorized distributor or reseller; (c) trademarks, serial labels, product stickers have been removed, altered, or tampered with; (d) the Product has been disassembled, mishandled, misused, or defaced; (e) the Product has been abused with firmware upgrades without the guidance of an authorized technician; (f) damage to the Product caused by accident, disassembly, misuse or repair by persons other than the designated supplier or modification, use, fission or spare parts that have exceeded the warranty period; (g) damage to the Product due to improper working conditions or handling, such as improper temperature, humidity, abnormal physical or electrical stress or interference, power failures or fluctuations, static electricity, use of incorrect power adapters, etc.; (h) damage to the product due to violation of the instructions for safe handling and use of the battery; (i) damage to the product due to force majeure, natural disasters, etc.; (j) the warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

4. Limitation of Damages

INSEETECH shall not be liable for other additional warranties or promises made by dealers, agents, distributors or any other third parties. If they promise you some additional promises or warranties, please ask for a written document to protect your rights.

Except for the voiding of the above warranty, in no event shall INSEETECH be liable for any consequential, incidental, exemplary or special damages (including any damages resulting from loss of data or loss of configuration files) arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty or the product. INSEETECH's total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with this Limited Warranty or the Product will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Product.

Ⅱ. Return and Refund Policy

PRODUCTS: At INSEETECH, we are committed to customer satisfaction. If a product does not meet your expectations or is defective, you may request a refund, exchange, or repair, depending on your circumstances by referring to the following policies.

ACCESSORIES: If you are not satisfied with any accessory, we can always replace it or give you a full refund. The return and refund policy for accessories is the same as for cameras. New replacements will be shipped to you at our shipping cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Normally, orders that are in process, on hold, or shipped (you have received a tracking number or the order status is complete) cannot be canceled. If you refuse a package after it has been sent by INSEETECH due to force majeure, you will be subject to the following return and refund policy and must pay the original shipping cost, which will be deducted from your refund.

1. Return policy for products purchased from INSEETECH

a) For unwanted products

If an INSEETECH Product purchased directly from INSEETECH does not meet your satisfaction or is not suitable for the application in which it was installed, but has not been recognized as defective by an INSEETECH technician, we refer to such Product as an "Unwanted Product".

You may return Unwanted Products (Refundable Products) to INSEETECH within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or replacement, unless otherwise noted on the product listing on our website, receipt or packing slip. You are responsible for shipping charges. After 30 days, refunds and exchanges for unwanted products are no longer available.

 IMPORTANT: Full refunds are not available for unwanted INSEETECH certified refurbished products. You can only exchange a refurbished product for a refurbished product, not for a new unit.

To avoid delays or refusal to process your refund request, please verify that your refunded product meets all of our inspection criteria ("Inspection Criteria") below.

The refunded product must be:

1. packaged in its original factory packaging for safe transportation;
2. complete with original accessories, documentation, and standard certification labels, including, but not limited to, product name and brand name;
3. free of any permanent alterations, including but not limited to paint, altered connection inputs, severed wires or cables, or signs of screws/fasteners or seals being removed;
4. be free of damage of any kind, including but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement, or damage caused by electrical surges;
5. be labeled with a security seal, intact and untampered with.

For your own benefit, we recommend that you use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation information to ship your Refunded Products back to the location directed by INSEETECH. INSEETECH is not responsible for any loss of or damage to the Refunded Products while in transit.

INSEETECH will conduct a thorough inspection of the Refunded Products upon receipt and determine whether the inspection criteria have been met. If your Refunded Product does not meet the inspection criteria ("Ineligible Refunded Product") and has been shipped to INSEETECH, your Ineligible Refunded Product will be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% as determined by INSEETECH in its sole discretion. Inspection may take up to 5 business days from the date of receipt of your Refunded Product.

If INSEETECH rejects the refunded Non-Conforming Product, you will be required to pay the costs and fees of shipping the refunded Non-Conforming Product back to you from INSEETECH.

b) For Defective Products (Non-Human Damage)

If the Product is found to be defective (non-human damage) when you receive it, you may return it to INSEETECH within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement. INSEETECH is responsible for all shipping costs.

After 30 days but within the 1-year warranty period, a full refund is not available, but a replacement or repair is available. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the unit to INSEETECH and INSEETECH will cover the shipping costs for the new replacement or repair unit.

After the 1 year warranty period, we will only provide technical support if the product is defective.

 IMPORTANT NOTE: For defective INSEETECH-confirmed refurbished products, a full refund is not available. Within 1 year warranty period, you can only exchange the refurbished machine for a refurbished one, not a new one.

c) For Human Damaged Products

No refunds will be given for products that have been damaged by human beings. within 30 days, the product can be replaced or repaired, but you will be responsible for any service fees, shipping costs and other expenses. After 30 days, no replacement or repair will be accepted.

d) How to return

First contact our customer service team and provide all the necessary details to start the request.

e) Transportation in the return process

For your own benefit, we recommend that you use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation to ship your returned product back to the address indicated by INSEETECH. INSEETECH is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the returned product during transportation.

International customers may be subject to duties, taxes and brokerage fees. Customers are responsible for the costs incurred.

If a certified INSEETECH technician tests the returned Product and finds it to be free of defects or not covered by INSEETECH's Limited Warranty, you are responsible for arranging for the returned Product to be shipped from INSEETECH to your location.

2. return policy for products purchased from third parties

If an INSEETECH product you purchased from a third-party store or vendor does not function to your satisfaction or is not suitable for your installation, please contact the third-party store or vendor from which the product was originally purchased for a return and refund policy. All return and refund processes related to INSEETECH products purchased from a third-party store or vendor are subject to the specific policies of the third-party store or vendor. For specific information, please refer to the return and refund policy of the original store or vendor from which you purchased your INSEETECH product. INSEETECH is not responsible for refunds and returns. 

Ⅲ. Upgrade or exchange policy

INSEETECH cannot exchange a returned product for another type of returned product unless the returned product meets all of the following requirements:

1. the returned product is returned to INSEETECH for repair or replacement within INSEETECH's Limited Warranty and Warranty Period (1-year warranty);
2. the returned product is found by INSEETECH technicians to be defective and beyond repair;
3. the product of the same model number as the returned product is out of stock and is clearly not available in the near future or has been discontinued.

If the returned product meets the stated requirements, INSEETECH will, at its sole discretion, offer a variety of replacement or upgrade options. However, if you request a product other than a free replacement, you may be subject to additional charges.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For new replacement products, you may not request another replacement unless it has been confirmed by INSEETECH technicians to be defective or irreparable.

Ⅳ. Lost Parts Policy

If the product you ordered arrives to you missing parts, the specific policy depends on where your product was shipped.

a) For orders shipped directly from INSEETECH warehouses

If a customer is missing product parts or receives the wrong product, they must notify us within 15 days of the delivery date and provide an image to confirm this before replacing the product you received with a complete product.

If your order is undelivered or the ordered product arrives damaged, please contact INSEETECH Customer Support. If the Products you ordered arrive damaged or incomplete due to external damage, please retain all internal and external packaging as it will be required when we submit a transportation claim to the carrier service used to ship your order.

b) For orders shipped from third-party stores or suppliers

If your order arrives incomplete, undelivered, or if the ordered product is damaged, please contact the third-party store or vendor where the order was placed and shipped via the detailed policy or information.
